Measuring 52'8" (16.05 m) long with a beam of 23'11" (7.28 m), this powercat is designed to be operated directly by its Owners, without a professional crew. The builder even claims it is suitable for circumnavigation.
The 52 Exploration has a displacement of 28 t and, above all, substantial capacities: 1,321 US gal (5,000 l) of fuel, 227 US gal (860 l) of fresh water and 106 US gal (400 l) of black water. The roof holds up to 8 kWp of solar panels. The accommodation comprises three cabins and three bathrooms for four to six people.
Hybrid propulsion will be offered as an option, with two 180 kW electric motors combined with two 160 kW generators and a 220 kWh battery bank. This substantial installation should allow extensive use of onboard systems and certain phases of cruising in full-electric mode.
Tooling for the new model is already underway, and the first boat is due to be launched in 2028.
